    The other macro thread really got me wanting to see more macro so why not start a thread.

    As I was heading out to take the dog for a swim yesterday I ran across this interesting subject so I did some really quick hand held shots of it with the 50mm and a wireless flash.

    Macro has been my focus lately.  Getting better every day and the R1C1 setup has been very beneficial, especially the SB-R200 flashes.

    Not really Neal I was in a hurry to get my dog to the water and he was in an even bigger hurry to get there. The crop you can do with these lenses and still have great IQ is just

    Thanks!  I think I prob used my tubes on the first pic also. Yeah, coral .. Had a couple of SPS reef tanks for a while  🙂

    I really like that mushroom pic Lee! Great composition and the color are perfect IMO.
