    Hi all,

Here are a few photos from a recent outing.  I welcome any comments and/or critiques.

    Cheers,

Those shots are great Tim!  They really capture the mood of a misty morning fishing trip.  I want to go there (ah hem . . . now, LOL).

By the way, I love the use of the rule of thirds on those first two shots.

Those are super sweet! Personally, I really like the 5th photo.

Great stuff Tim. I’m with Corey…#5. The perspective draws me toward the bend in the river. Makes me want to know what’s around the bend.

    I like.

As Corey mentioned…#5 is great. I like it a lot.  Nice work.

In photos 1 & 2, the pine tree in front of the angler is distracting.  The casting was captured perfectly.  The tree in the frame takes away from the shot and subject matter.

Thanks for the nice comments and helpful suggestions guys.  Compliments from this group mean a lot to me, but I value your critiques too.

Neal:  It is a wonderful, magical place; a mecca for many.  Here are couple iconic shots that might be familiar to a few people:

I snapped about 50 frames around #5, and they all have that same look and feel.  I was almost shaking at the time because I knew that the light and fog  were very special.  For those of you who recognize the cabin, the ‘model’ in these photos is John Voelker’s grandson.  A great model and a great person.
