Hey guys –
Winter has set in even here in the South, and like I do every winter I’ve been voraciously reading whenever I’m not doing anything else.

I’ve read Pullman’s “His Dark Materials”; fantastic writing, but I wouldn’t neccessarily classify it as childrens lit. It covers some very deep philosophic material, that while it will probably go over the head of an 11 year old, certain adults may wince at it. I for one, greatly enjoyed the trilogy.
