Was watching the new show Dollar Wise Fly and noticed the guy was using two indicators on his nymph rig. Does anyone else do this? Besides extra flotation (I guess)  what’s the advantage?

    Thanks Bob!

I thought it might be something like that. I may try it this weekend. I’m glad to see ya on the rebound. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Not like most of us, I’m sure you got much more on your mind than fishing. Thanks

It’s also just a better/easier way to have control of your drift. Not essential but sometimes helpful.

This is a pretty common technique for the guides on the Frying Pan and the Roaring Fork.

Guides use two bobbers so their clients can tell if they are getting a good drift or have any drag.

Whoa, Whoa Lando…lets not get crazy
I think the preferred euphemism is a “Fly Suspension Device” 🙂

I’ll be “guiding” a buddy whose never been before. The water’s still pretty chilly here in MD so I think I’ll give it a try. Hadn’t been all winter – hope I get to fish!
