I’m heading up to Alaska at the end of July to check out a lodge for work, and am going to be spending some time on the Kenai Peninsula. I know that we have quite a few guys that head up there and was wondering what two-handers you bring up there. I know that this might be a shot in the dark since the whole spey thing is pretty much a niche thing for most guys. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Neal,

Thanks, I have to admit it is sort of funny being a guide, working in a fly shop, and on top of that getting college credit for it. I have to say I love the word “internship”. Only at Purdue could you get college credit for being a fly fishing guide. Only one word comes to mind when I think of this, and that is glorious.

Thanks for the input so far guys keeping it coming. I may need to clarify more though. I’m going to be buy a new two-hander or two in the near future and was curious what line weight, rod length, and the type of line guys are using up there.
