    Hey guys –

If any of you have spent as much time as I have in the western corners of GSMNP, you’ll find this entry very interesting:

Wikipedia sometimes astounds me with its detail.

i have not read the book yet, but a lot of guys over at the little river outfitters site say the Last Train to Elkmont is a good book about the history of the area.

It is a great book…… actually Last Train Out Of Elkmont.
The trees they cut and hauled out of the Smoky’s will make you cry.

I’ve fished on the fringes of the park on one trip about 100 years ago, but never really been inside.

It’s one of the places I really really want to fish.

I’ve seen some small stream shots that give me sleepless nights.

    One day..

A picture is thousand words that takes less than a second while a thousand words is a picture that takes a month.
