    Been out to the East Gallatin a couple of times in the last week, but this morning I was greeted with an outstanding sunrise.  Fishing wasn’t bad as well.  Its mornings like this that make getting out of bed early worthwhile.


    The image doesn’t capture the glorious nature of this Bozeman sunrise.


    Of course there were browns and rainbows

    Early last week my neighbor and I spent a few hours at dawn on the East

    He’s fun to watch because he likes tiny dry flies and emergers.

    Something you don’t see every day on the East Gallatin—a herd of ~35 elk with a large bull and several spikes.
