Well I do love Scott rods, but have all faster S3,S4,X2S, never really tried slower rods. Finally picked up an 8’4″ 4wt G2 and took it out today. I did not get to use it in its natural calling, but was using light nymphs. What a wonderful rod to cast and it also catches some fish. I have a Abel Creek on it and it is super light in the hand. I could not be more impressed. I don’t think I have ever really had a connection with a rod like this before on the cast. I will have to pick up a 7’7″ 3wt to replace my sage txl, super impressed. BR
