    I have seen a Tibor Freestone Reel on ebay and a picture of one in the 2007 catalog but not offered. When I went on to their site, they have no Freestone model. Could any one fill me in on this? Was this a reel they carried and no do not?

    The Freestone was made for a number of years and was discontinued sometime three or four years ago for what I can only imagine were lackluster sales. There are still some new and used models floating around on ebay.

    Tibor also did a limited run of 100 freestones this summer.

    K, it makes a really nice 6 – 7wt reel.
