    I am not sure how many of you have heard or not, but Ed Story passed away sometime this past Sunday.

    Ed was the founder of Feather-Craft and for many re-invented the fly tying mail order business (at least in the midwest).  For those that never had the chance to meet and share a story or two with Ed, he definitely was one of the nicest guys in the industry.  For those that got to interact with Ed on occassion, we were the fortunate ones.  He leaves behind a very loving family and has left his mark on the fly fishing industry.

    This isn’t much of a local topic, but many of you probably get the Feather-Craft catalog and hopefully have gotten to converse with Ed on the phone over the years and I figured some might want to know.  He will be missed.

    Ed Story was the BEST! Hell of a good guy! He will be missed by many.
