    Somehow I got an edge in my bobbin that now cuts thread better than my scissors.

    Have you been spinning deer hair with Kevlar thread lately?  Kevlar is *really* strong; it could easily pull a burr out of a cheap aluminum bobbin.

    No kevlar but I do use alot of GSP with deer hair- I think its time for the new bobbin-
    Any recommendations?

    If it is a cheap bobbin, just throw it away.
