After lunch today I took off to the family pond for two hours with a couple of old fiberglass rods, two clicker reels, and a big box of flies.

Nicely done…at least I know someone here got out and brought some fish to hand on this turkey day.

Great stuff…your gear continues to cause envy.

I had planned on crushing some steelhead until 4 inches of rain fell in the last 2 days at my holiday spot.

Every river within 75 miles is in the trees.

Seafood…thanks for the kind words about the gear.

Cameron you silly, silly boy. You don’t know what cold is! The “high” today at the cabin was 5 above zero! It is suppose to get into the double digits below zero up there tonight! I am glad to be back here in the balmy Missoula where it is currently a very warm 10 degrees out.

Nice post by the way. What a great way to free your mind to give thanks. And don’t let anyone who eats tofu give you a hard time about your cool old stuff! It is why we are where we are today! 🙂

    Nice photos and story! Cameron!

I love these “teethy bastards” too! They are great looking and they hit the fly hard!

If you want to get rid of your “Junky Rods”… Here is a good home for them! ;D
Your Hedden pal is a fantastic rod… I would get one for myself soon!! 😉

    Cool Cameron –

Somehow that fish and that setup just go well together.
