Hey Zach,
Thanks for the response to my post on Fly Fishing Today, (msentme), regarding equipment for my move from Florida to N. Georgia. I had a feeling that the guys in the shop were trying to put the wrong stick in my hand. I would like to give you a few more details about the kind of fishing that I plan to do. Any recommendations will be appreciated.
Most of the fishing that I do will be exclusively in the backcountry of north Georgia and southern N. Carolina. I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2000 and wanted to fish the streams that I passed throughout my entire trip. I made notes on my topo maps every time that I spotted trout and am very much looking forward to revisiting some of these streams.
Like I said on the other board, my fly fishing experience has been limited to Pompano and Redfish 3 or 4 times a week here in Destin for the last 14 months. My only rod is a St. Croix 8wt with a G.Loomis reel.

Thanks again for the good advice. I have been looking at the Scott G and the TFO pro this week. I like the idea that the TFO seems to be almost completely non-reflective, and at that price, I can afford to get two outfits to cover a wider variety of water.
If I get two rods, what wieghts and lengths do you recommend?
Also, what is your recommendation for a top notch line?
