TFO and feather-Craft ROCK!!!!

I ordered a TiCr 7wt on the 18th from Feather-Craft and got two day shipping. After it did not show up today, I called F.C. and they said it was drop shipped from TFO on the day I ordered it. The lady I spoke with called me back and said that she called TFO and they tracked it and Fedex delivered it to my front porch on the 20th. I called TFO and they are sending me another rod and will make a claim with fedex themselves. I am absolutely in shock that they would do that. They could have told me that it wasn’t their problem and to deal with Fedex. The people I talked to at both companies were very polite and helpful to the extreme. Both outfits are top notch in my book and have earned a ton of customer loyalty from me.
Now I have to figure out who it was that had the nerts to steal my rod from my front porch. I hope they fall on the butt section and poke an eye out…
Okie, I checked with everyone around me. It has been very windy for several days, so I even walked around the hood in case it may have blown off the porch. I hope fedex doesn’t give TFO any crap and reimburses them.
Two Christmases ago my two sons bought me a surprise gift from Feather-Craft, an 81/2 ft St. Croix Legend Elite and a Ross Cimarron 2. When it didn’t arrive by mid December, they called Feather-Craft and were told that UPS showed delivery, but that replacements would be dropped shipped immediately in order to arrive by Christmas.
I got the rod and reel by Christmas, and Feather-Craft eventually traced the orginals to delivery at the wrong address. The jerk who had them thought it was his lucky day.Great company that Feather-craft.
