I want to experiment with some of the new synthetic body materials out there to achieve an “EC-like” bluegill pattern for bass. I have an idea for the general shape, size and color scheme but which of the new materials will exhibit the best movement and “flash.” I guess what I’m getting at here is, do each of the more popular fibers (i.e. angel hair, ec, polar, etc.) have their own unique applications or are they all fairly similar and simply different marketing angles? I would like to use something that is somewhat translucent with quite a bit of flash and action. Also, do any of these new synthetics come in barred patterns or does one simply use a waterproof marker as a last step add-on? Thanks.
