    Any ideas for a substitution. Aqu Seal maybe? I need to tie some flies this week and dont have time ot run to the shop and get some.

    The  UV stuff made by loon is pretty good for heads, i know several top notch tiers that use the stuff…

    +1 for the Loon products.

    its also good as a precursor to epoxy, some materials “fan out” when you use epoxy on them, however if you build the head with loon first, then put epoxy over it, the problem is solved.
