MemberOn Sunday I was fishing one of my favorite streams. I started working a nice run of feeding trout when I felt the presence of someone watching. I looked and saw this character moving towards my run…with about 50 associates in tow. As a true gentleman angler, I gave up the hole, and moved to another part of the stream.

MemberWe get along fairly well with the elk…but it pays not to get in the middle of the crowd.

Bob RigginsMemberI have that same problem with dolphin. I’ll be fishing a nice flat and they will just move in like they own the place. They just have no respect for proper etiquette. I’ve even had one try to take a speckled trout right off my line. And then, of course, you can always go up in the creeks and meet up with one of these guys. They just have no respect for anything.

Joel ThompsonMemberMark what you have there is a Mountain sheep. Fun to see and not near as skiddish as a goat.

Joel ThompsonMemberPatrick I was wondering if you would have a beer picture for us or not! I have seen lot of picutures over the years with big bears in fly fishing pictures from Alaska. I have to say I am a little surprised that this picture just has a little black bear and not some big Kodiak or Grizzly! 😮 I guess you will just have to work on that for us! 😉
Welcome to the board by the way. I have enjoyed your posts so far! How far are you from Anchorage?

MemberNo matter how small that bear is, it’s a better picture than my billygoat/mountain sheep or whatever the hell it was.
