Anyone have any experience with the St. Croix Rio Santo? I’m considering purchasing a 9-foot 5-wt.
I’m looking for something with a pretty moderate action that’s easy to load and cast. The rod I have now is pretty fast and I feel like it’s not very forgiving of my poor casting abilities. St. Croix lists the rod as a “med-fast” or “mod-fast,” I can’t remember exactly. It’s only about $120, so I understand I get what I pay for. I’m just curious if anyone has first-hand experience with it.
