Just got back from a photo job at the remote atoll of St. Brandon’s, about 250 miles away from the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius. Awesome saltwater fly fishing, had mostly perfect light for photography, shot far too much…………but how can you not when those flats light up in the high midday sun ? One hell of a shock coming back from this to a very icy, cold UK. You can imagine the lack of sympathy I got from my wife and two girls when I complained about how cold it was when I got back !! Might be work for me, but I so love my job when I get to shoot this kind of fishing.

Here are a few pix, and there are a load more on my website here :

It’s 17 degrees here in the ATL and I’m freezing my butt off in this cubicle jungle. This is just what I needed. I want to go!!!

    Thanks for sharing Henry.

Great stuff Henry.  I love the GT shot (or is that a queenfish?).  I assume those are Indo-Pacific permit and bones?

Many thanks for looking guys, most kind……….

Zach – yes, it’s a GT, and yes, Indo-Pacific Permit (plenty out there, still as hard to get to take a fly though !!), plus bones etc.
