and Mr. Cho at http://www.riverfly.net (a shameless plug for my ‘local’ shop) told me that when the cherry blossoms are out, various species of fish can be found in the Han River (the main river running through Seoul).

I’ll keep that in mind next time I’m in [s:1esn69es]Korea[/s:1esn69es] the local area, hahaha.

    Bill I love your posts.

I agree with Neal — very cool post — and obvious you are passionate about angling — in fact you put “Seoul” into fly fishing (sorry couldn’t help myself) — look forward to more

Frankly I’ve never heard of anyone in fly fishing addressed as Mister!

Neal, I think calling people Mister is a sign of respect, especially here in Asia, and except for two or three people I fish with regularly, I am not quite comfortable calling most by their given names.

That is great stuff Bill.  Thanks for sharing.  Honestly, we could all use a bit more of that tradition/respect in fly fishing.  It’s also a good reminder for myself on how to treat others.  And I truly believe that we should all give more scotch to each other.

That fish might be a herring family member.
