Katrina!

Any house has to be 20′ off the ground now.

The other half of the gang. These guys came from Destin and fished with us. They own the Ships Chandler in Destin and deal Maverick, Hewes, Pathfinder, etc… Good dudes and a good hook up if you ever need a flats boat.

Thanks guys, the fishing was pretty good, the company was top notch and lower LA is hellish but that’s what keeps it special I guess. Lots of Katrina storm debris, abandoned stores and homes in the area. It really looks like a war zone down there. There isn’t much of anything to eat in the immediate area and what is there is risky. Todd got a bad case of monkey butt from eating at Waffle House, it was the only sit down place open…. Once you get out in the marsh though it’s a whole different world.

Travis that boat is one of the best fishing boats I’ve ever been on. How something that drafts so little can ride so good in heavy chop is amazing. Poling it was almost as fun as fishing from it. Will I own one in the future??? Yes.

Travis, I have my boat under 24 hour lockdown. Strange trucks have been seen in the area with TN plates and striper scales all over them. 😕
