Maybe you guys can answer a question for me.
When this site gets hacked, or any other site really, is the attack specific to this site? I mean did someone get on to intentionally get a virus on this site?

This site actually lives on what’s called a ‘shared hosting package’ server.

Incidentally, this site has been hacked two different ways.  The first time, ‘iframe’ elements were loaded onto all the index pages to reroute traffic to a spam/porn site.  This time, a PHP vulnerability was exploited to change the .htaccess file.  Thing is, both times the time-stamps were not altered.  No one I’ve talked to knows how that was done.
