Here are a few photos from our family trip to Yellowstone National Park and Keystone South Dakota. The Manfrotto 682B monopod with the 3 feet really helped and was easy to carry with my Canon Rebel XTi camera attached. Most of my 1500+ photos I took were in raw and I am editing them with Lightroom, as suggested on the forum. Much easier than Photoshop CS5.

These 2 pics were taken with my Canon Point & Click camera. The Henry’s Fork was wall to wall guys so when i got a chance to fish I focused my short fishing times in the park on the Madison on some great Drake & PMD stretches and on the head of Quake Lake.

I really enjoyed trying the local brews…

This was not taken by me, but it is our family going down the Gallatin River through the canyon and “house rock”…

I want to thank the photo pros on this forum for all the help and answering my questions.

Thanks everyone. My son and daughters loved being out West so much they are creating a photo album of the trip.

JW, #6 is Fairy Falls and #3 is Mystic Falls. Fairy Falls has a really cool, clear pool at the bottom. Mystic Falls has beautiful flowers, unusual lava rock formations and a very scenic creek along the hike to the falls.

Our most memorable hike was to the top of Mount Washburn, Crossing snow drifts and getting hit by a hail storm on the way to the top.
