MemberA few pics from this years Striper Fishing. I’m sorry that I didn’t take time to get creative shots but when the bite is on its hard to focus on camera angles and such. Maybe next year I’ll take my time,, but I doubt it. Fishing grip and grins are already done to death.

MemberThat’s how we roll. Work all day and fish all night. Got no time for the Whorvis look.

MemberAnd yes, these are all fly caught… There are a few folks on this forum who can testify to the complete insanity we encounter with these fish on the fly.

Jay MalyonMemberThat’s a strong showing of some fly caught stripes. What flies did those big boys eat?

That is awesome. It’s a shame it was fly caught because it would make a great cover for Bait Bubba magazine. In all seriousness though, that tattoo is pretty sweet.

Man Mike if I new you were going to post that pic I would have combed my hair, put in a fresh chew and wore my best overalls 🙂 I guess there is always next time we go after them.

MemberNice I don’t know the first two guys on the list but that’s a great choice on the last one.
I guess I should be a little more selective on my attire choices sometimes 🙂Sep 29, 2011 at 2:03 am #49877
T. WilesMemberMan, I can’t believe I missed it this summer!
Zach, don’t let Jarrod’s tough guy look fool you….you could whoop him. ::)I did manage a few East TN stripers on the fly…but they don’t hold a candle to the caliber of Fish I’ve boated with Mike A.
I was looking through some pics, and I realized that my two biggest stripers (ever) came from the same kind of summer night fly fishing with Mike.
I’ll have to make some time for it next summer for sure.2009

Heres what your hand looks like after a night of unhooking these beasts.

No bait or plugs were used to catch these fish. I’m lucky to still have my 10 wt after battling these fish.
