    Hey Zach,

My wife has been talking about a camping trip for a few weeks now, and I think she’s finally gotten her heart set on going up to the mountains next weekend.

My suggestion would be Cataloochee. The kids can ride their bikes, you can view wildlife, tour historic buildings, hike miles of trails, and fish five streams. There are only about 20 campsites, so it is never too

    Hey Bryan –

Well, the Smokies are a big place, buddy.

If you want to really “get away” I’d suggest the Elkmont Campgrounds in the park.

No doubt – and it’s a big place that I don’t know diddly about.

Abrams at least offers the benefit of being the least crowded area on that side of the Park.

If this is your first trip to the area I would go to Elkmont.
