    can anyone reccomend some places within resonable driving distance
    4-6 hrs from atl to smallmouth fish . i prefer rivers that you can use a driftboat on. i have never fished for smallmouths but would love to try it out.  regards ,Reg

    I have absolutely no idea, but I have been itching to fish the Flint River for smallmouth and shoal bass.
