in truth it does sink but pretty slowly. For me a ton of our fishing is done in really shallow water so I don’t need it to be more than about a foot under the water. Redfish and specks are my prime audience. For me the truth is that redfish down here are cruisers and don’t tail too much so a fleeing shrimp is a good way to go and we have two shrimp migrations, brown shrimp in the spring and white shrimp in the fall.
I prefer the white and orange because it does well in our dingy water during the day and well under the lights at night.
