Shameless Promotion

Hello,

I followed a link to Zach’s report about the Retailer Show and got to looking around the BB and saw this board, so I sent an email to Zach inquiring about promoting my products here. He told me to go for it. I think this is a great service for small businesses to be able to do some promotion on a BB and unique without having to incur any costs. My hat is off to Zach.

So here goes my shameless promo. I sell 3 products, FlyReelDots, CaseDots and ZipCast that I would like to tell you about. FlyReelDots is a product I came up with after watching my mentor struggle with his tippet each time he was gearing up. It is a simple product that holds the tippet in place when you put your reel away and allows for easy retrieval of the tippet when you are ready to line your rod. A package of FlyReelDots consists of 2 Dots and 2 sets of 5/8″ Velcro. You place the smooth part of the Velcro on the housing or spool side of your reel and the rough part of the Velcro on the back of the Dot. Lay your tippet over the pad on your reel and leave a couple inches beyond the pad. Place the Dot on the pad, then wrap the tippet around the base a few time for a more secure hold. That is how Dots work. They are functional; especially Line Dots because you can write what line is on your reel and spare spools. The Dots with images of trout or flies are aesthetically pleasing too. If you are tired of digging tangled or lost tippet from your reel then you will appreciate FlyReelDots.

CaseDots allow you to identify the contents of a reel case, rod tube or fly box. They come with a split ring so you can attach them to the zipper or to a fly box (if the box has a place you can put a split ring). I have 3 Orvis Battenkill reels and the cases look the same so the CaseDots allows me to quickly grab the reel I want. You can write info on the back of the CaseDot or even your phone number incase you lose a case or fly box.

ZipCast is a line treatment that does an excellent job of cleaning your line and conditions it so that it glides through the guides with ease and never gets tacky. There is nothing else even remotely like it. ZipCast is very easy to apply and no buffing is required, you can even apply it to wet lines. I am the only source for International sales of ZipCast, plus I have the endorsement of the maker for Domestic sales too.
