They are by far my favorite spring and summer fly in any Tailwater situation I’ve been in so far. I like em big (12) in deep water and small (18 to 22) in shallow runs. I mostly fish them dead drifted under an indicator but I’m wondering if stripping them wouldn’t also be deadly since they are fast swimmers. My favorite colors are orange flashback and John W’s Trout Crack with no lead.
Anybody got anything to add?
