    Scott,

    I saw on your website that you were building your second wooden boat. Looks like you are building on the Rapid Roberts design? Let me know when the “Wood Boat Boys” will be getting together. I’m looking for an excuse to head your way for a week with my “woodie” in tow.

    The date for the second annual Wooden Drift Boat Rendezvous in Cotter is Saturday, September 15th this year. We hope to make it an annual fling around that same Saturday each year. Any one with a “woodie” is invited. Bring your spouse, dog, angling buddy–which ever has priority.

    It’s on the calendar!

    When I was there last, I stayed at a campground right there at the Rainbow Bridge. As a matter of fact…our campsite was beneath the railroad trestle. Twice each night we felt the earth shake
