Zach may cover this in his podcast with Jim Bartschi (sp?), but has anyone heard if Scott will roll out anymore “classics” next year?
With how much used Scott glass rods from back in the day are selling for it would be cool to see them release a “retro style” glass rod.
As an AVID and fanatic Scott user I am looking forward to the release of this podcast.
I too am a diehard Scott fan. I have an SAS and a Heliply, but the best rod I have ever cast is the STS. It broke my heart when they discontinued it.
Was there a 7’9 #3 in the STS line ?
I had a Scott 7’9 #3 it was a grey blank ( can’t remember the exact model name ) and I broke it and sent it back to Scott – they replaced it with an 8′ #3 S3.
It was a lovely rod, more powerful than a G and a sweet cast.
Mide you the S3 is a nice rod as well.. 🙂

perhaps scott could release a more attractive g2.
Have to agree with that, I reviewed a G2 7’7 #2 and while it’s a joy to fish with the wraps clash with the blank color..
