    Hi all,

Anyone fished much with the Scott 6′ #1 F ?

I’ve had both the 2’s, the 3 and the 4, but not yet had a cast of the #1 – I hear it’s a sweet thing.

(best line advice would be great as well !)

    Cheers..

I’m working on that twig mission. I think it should involve a bit of footy too, don’t you? πŸ˜‰

Yes and yes, in that order.. πŸ˜‰

We can be best of friends on the water and bitter rivals at the stadium amd if they’re any Saffies around together we can pretend we like cricket !

David, not necessarily “glass” related but Bill Byrd is probably one of the best sources for Ultralight tackle http://www.byrdultrafly.com/.

If you already have the 2,3 and 4, why the hell are you asking for…

I have the 2w LOVE IT, and am now hunting for the 1w…

Mike, I only have the 3 now as it’s my favorite.

I am very open to suggestion however, and your red ‘just get it’ thing is all the prodding I need.

I owned that rod for two years and preferred it with a 3-wt line.

    David,
The 1wt Fibertouch is sweet. I have one in my sample bag and have been fishing it (even though I’m not so sure my samples are made for that). But hey, if they’re gonna send me rods, then I can’t just sit here and look at ’em.

I typically fish the 7’3wt F on small streams; as you know, it takes some getting used to on the hookset.

    Cheers,

    James

David…it sounds like you need the little one weight if for no other reason just to round out the “Scott Fibretouch Family”!

I only have the 703 now, sold the others off to keep the rod locker from bursting. πŸ˜‰
Also I came to the conclusion that the 3 is the best of them and I was fishing with it most of the time and seeing the others sit around doing nothing was a waste.

Should be ok to squeeze one more little one weight in there.
