I tried the schminnow tonight and thought I would take a few shots.  I still need to work on a couple of things and I am starting to see them in the finished product.  I need to take more time to set up my shot and make sure things are better before hitting the button, also need a tripod.
I hope this one turned out decent, and this fly may be the easiest to tie that I have ever tried, seriously.

I took a group of shots working on different things and narrowed it down to these three, which do you like more and why.

    thanks for looking

Nice job!  Those should catch some snook.

Here are some copperhead schminnows I tied up for a swap recently.

    Those are great looking Bob.
I need a longer shank, or at least I need to make the body more full (one of the things I noticed after the shot was taken)

    Thanks again

Norm Ziegler the original tier of the pattern visited our fly club a year or so ago and tied up a few schminnows for our members. Yours looks pretty darn close to his. You’re right, they are super easy to tie. I like the second picture better. I think the lighting is better than in the first one and the focus is a bit sharper.

Thanks, I am glad they look ok, and thanks for the comment on the pic.
