San Antonio on the Fly

Well, It seems that I am being forced to go to San Antonio for Memorial Day to see the in-laws. Naturally, I begin thinking of diversions. I know I could run back north to the Guad., or head south to the salt, but are there any other rivers or places worth fishing in that general area any of you are familiar with? I think it is safe to say the wife will not allow me to do any over-nighting away from the family, hence the inability to hit the previously mentioned waters.

I used to fish all around there…. but it has been quite a while.

You could go bass & bream fishing in the Medina River.

Thanks for your help. I have heard of those rivers and crossed them at some point in my life, but I had no idea on any specifics.
