After 2 years of careful negotiation, Sage has agreed to a special, one time, production run of XP Series Fly Rods, possibly the worlds finest and favorite casting and fishing rod ever.

We have had to share the spotlight with one of the “Big Box” stores on a couple of the standard models, but 7 of the tapers are available only from Anglers Pro Shop, and we are thrilled to be able to offer these on a “first come” basis.

Great… another first post trying sell something.

Yeah, it’s within the guidelines I set a while back and I am not going to bend them, so the post can stay.  I do think it’s a bit outside the spirit here, though.  Not to mention the fact that this shop and Cabela’s are the only outfits authorized to sell XPs out of the new run, which has to chafe a bit for all those fly shops that were forced to sell out their stock and now can’t get back in.  Also not to mention the fact that this will cannibalize Z-Axis sales out of those same shops.  Pretty hard to swallow for those shops, I’m sure, but like I said, I’m leaving it up.

Zach, any shop can sell the rods…as long as they are able to order 50 rods of whichever make/model they wish to sell.
