Well, that does it for me! I was really getting geeked about Rio too!
The biggest concern I had with S.A. lately was the tips tend to sink for me. On another site Bruce Richards said something is in the works to address this problem. I’ll wait (or use Orvis or Monic ‘high float’ butt sections).

Didn’t S.A. help develop that casting analyzer that Sage now has its claws into?
If true, ain’t that a slap in the face? ::)

My understanding is SA makes all of Sage and Orvis’ lines and many of the big box store’s lines.

I don’t quite know how to look at this because I already use both… I just hope they don’t screw up a good thing.

Do any of you use airflo lines? That is one line manufacturer you never hear much about. I think that is too bad about Rio. I think Sage may be on the road to becoming the “walmart” of the fly fishing world. They do have some great products though.
