    flying into Salt Lake City.

    I’ve rented from many companies over the years, never got a bad car.

    Do you have any company(s) you stay away like the plague ?

    Any bad experiences ?

    No.  but they all have had bad experiences with me.  I returned a KIA mini SUV with about 2 inches of red mud inside it from the Frying Pan.

    Hey, it’s a rental. ;D

    I had a bad experience with Advantage in Ft. Lauderdale.

    I plan on living forever, so far so good.

    Try Hertz at SLC airport using the Trout Unlimited discount. We got a great deal on a small SUV for a month last summer. And Hertz is always reliable.

    Last October I flew into SLC for a 4 day steelheading outing on the Salmon. I reserved the cheapest car Budget had. $14.00 sub compact. Got in at about 9:00 pm. All they had left in the lot were luxury cars, so my $14.00 a day got me a decked out Volvo S5 turbo. All leather, heated seats, the works.

    Broke my heart ;D
