    What an amazing tiny little ballhead. Makes the gitzo feel like it doesn’t have a head and holds a 5D series body with a 400 5.6 solid as a rock! Unless I do some serious glass upgrades I don’t know if I’ll ever need the B1 again.

    If your looking for a great hiking ballhead for loads <8 pounds look no further.

    I have the model without the plate – just a screw in – on a little Gitzo carbon and it’s awesome.
