This may be farther then you are willing to drive, but Randy Ratliff(troutfishers guide service) has one for sale. I can get you his email if needed.

I have a water ready 2005 14′ Star Wonderbug and custom trailer for sale.

The raft has wooden standing platforms front and rear, lean bars front and rear, full pulley anchor system, Carlisle oars with spare oar (oars shown do not go with the raft).

Trailer has custom roller system, front storage box and winch system.

    $3500

Counterbalancing is where there’s enough weight in the handles that the oar wants to ride horizontal in the oarlock; it reduces the load on the rower by helping to hold up the oar blade under it’s own weight.

You will also want to get a pully anchor system on the raft.

The trailer was purchased from a local trailer maker and modified by me with a roller system for the raft to glide on as you winch it on the trailer. I have about $1200 in the trailer. The trailer is 5 ft wide by 14 ft long (bed dimensions)
The oars are 9 1/2 footers.

Just as John said a good trailer and full pulley anchor system, like mine has, will help as you spend the day on the river.

John and his Dad have spent a few days on the river in my raft and can tell you how my system works well.

    Rick,
What type of water are you going to be using the raft on?

I’ll be fishing mostly small rivers 30-60 feet across.

The one issue with a raft is will you have the current working with you most of the time.

    Rick,

Is it a three seater or two?  Congrats on your new boat.  I hope your first trip is ripping big streamers on the PM.

    Post pics soon!

It’s a three seater and yes my maiden voyage will probably be on the PM ripping big streamers.

I haven’t done that stretch yet and have heard that there are some huge fish in there.

    Yes there are.
