I did a similar set up (just as a test) earlier this year. Here is one of the images with a nice big watermark on it (sorry about that).

The lure is suspended from the top section of my fly rod that I placed in the umbrella holder on a light stand. I lit it with 2 sunpak 383 strobes.

Congrats for getting the job for the catalog, those are good paying jobs which means more gear!

Chad – was that one in still life table or lighbox with hole in roof?

Number 2 is a nice shot.

The word on the backspinner blade on the number one picture. It was not possible to turn it the right way round?
