Need to pick up some new floatant this week. Wondering what you all like/prefer.
I have tons of Frogs Fanny for the CDC stuff but need some goo for standard dries. Have always used Gink but wondering if something better has come along lately.
That said, I still prefer hydrophobic fumed silica (frog’s rear) for more than just cdc. I use it on everything. I like to have a bottle of dessicant too so I can grind the fish slime off of flies after they stop taking floatant well.
Basically it is a gigantic jar of paraffin for about $11. I refill my old gink and loon bottles with it. Figure I’ll save around $28,000.00 in floatant cost with one jar of Albolene.

😉You can buy a small house with that, but does it work???
Do you guys use “Shake and Bake”??? Loons Top Ride, or the likes??? I refill it with the contents of the silicone packets that come with digital products…
