I am blatantly stealing this idea from another board. I’m also violating my own rule by posting a pic of each species:

For me it would either be this one from the Cumberland River in Kentucky:

Or this one from Yellowstone’s Trout Lake:

Maybe I ought to just do one from each species?

That was actually my fish but Ian’s holding it for me.

Finally, I have no idea how this one wound up in the Chattahoochee down by the sewage treatment plant, but boy was I surprised!

One of the biggest and best looking cuttys I’ve caught.

    Flat Creek Cutty

    Flat Creek. September 2012.

I saw your link to the thread on FB and thought I’d finally join. I really enjoy the podcast, and the site is great too. Keep up the fine work, Zach.

For striking colour I have to go with this Speck

    And these carotene rich fillets

Wow John, what kind of filets were those? Were those brook trout? Hardly count as “brook” up your way…

Land locked Rainbow Zach, the other on the table is a Laker. We were on a fly in to a remote Northern Lake, neither Dale or I had ever come across flesh that color. Can only guess their diet is heavy on fresh water shrimp.

Thanks Zach … Good to be back! I got hit with a serious grind at work over the last few months and didnt do much other than eat, sleep, and breath Disney Infinity … Now that that is over… its time to fish! 🙂

Zach, I love this topic.  While I’m not as well-skilled as many others who post in the Photography section, I still get a few good ones.

Here’s one my son took on Idaho’s Big Lost River:

    (Sorry Jason, I just couldn’t resist… 🙂 )

Whoa… what exactly is that? A Kentucky? Really pretty.

Zach – that’s a N. Ga. redeye. They are beautiful fish and show lots of variation in their markings between drainages. Lots of good looking trout on here, but I have a soft-spot for river bass!

New to the board. Figured this might be a good place to jump in. I fish mainly for carp. Here are couple of photos from a trip to Michigan earlier this year:
