clark reidMemberI see the Old crow Medicne Show are playing here in Auckland New Zealand next year Zach.
I’d love to catch them but at $55.00 a ticket plus two hours travelling each way it may be out of our budget for a music show… 🙁
Great to see more of that style downunder though!
You can judge a man by the size of things which annoy him.

MemberZach you really need to come up here for the Uncle Dave Macon days this summer. You’ll love it. We might even get that Striper that’s been haunting you.

MemberHey Mike,
My wife and I went to Uncle Dave Macon Days the year before last, and are hoping to make it again soon. My cousin Gloria Christy and her husband Tom are the President and ministry fair oragnizers of UDMD respectively. Maybe we should have an IA enclave in Murfreesboro this summer…
UDMD is very cool. Set in an old historical civil war town called Cannonsburgh, you can walk around and just walk up to a group of folks pickin’ and grinin’. The folks that are seriously into clogging walk up with their clogging shoes and 3’x3′ peice of plywood with handle, and throw it down and just go to town cloggin’. It’s quite a cool atmosphere.
Concerning the podcast Zach, I started listening to it in the truck this morning…got through the first two songs. I can already say this is one of my favorite podcasts. When I first stumbled upon the Itinerant Angler, the music was one of the main things that hooked me. It was like being home again. Great job promoting all these artists Zach. My CD collection is growing rapidly ;D Absolutely love the music you showcase on the podcasts.

MemberBring it on! We’ve got alot to offer in the arena of fishing as well.
UDMD’s is a great time if you like old timey music and good folks. I love it! Somebody will sit down on the porch of one of those old houses and start playing a banjo. Next thing you know there’s a fiddle player, then a guitar, and mandolin, all strangers, and all jamming. If you don’t find yourself tapping your feet at UDMD’s you aint got no rhythm man.

Cameron MortensonMemberZach…GREAT podcast! Since we moved to South Carolina eight or nine years ago I am slowly learning about all the good things…bluegrass…barbecue…and a long list of other foods and places.

The sound of Old Crow Medicine Show reminds me of the wife’s family who routinely jams on weekends or around campfires in the mountains.
