I have known a few folks to fish pink scuds instead of egg patterns

When I last fished the Bighorn, in 1997, we fished mostly orange scuds, though pink ones were available.

I usually drop a #18 or #20 tan scud off a copper john or zebra midge around this time of year, works great!
