    Per the swivel, clever way to attach an articulated fly in lieu of mono (is that the intention?/answers above question).

    I have not seen that before. How does the swivel hold up to the weight of a big fish?

    Regarding the swivel, it was an idea suggested to me a few months ago by an astute friend.

    curtis,

    i started to play around with the swivel idea. i tied them down and cemented them to the hook just above the bend. the dropper fly is tied on a cottering pin (idea from a guy in my local fff group)

    we will try them out tomorrow for stripers and snakeheads on the potomac. i’ll try to get pics before we fish them.
