    Hey folks –

Every year at this time I go on a bird hunt at a game farm in Arkansas with Lauren’s family.  It’s a planted hunt; nothing real fancy, but special to us.

Nice Zach. Looks like a great time and a nice tradition. Especially like the shot with feathers flying.

Looks like a great time and a great tradition as well Zach. I love the way that in every photo that the white dog is in he (or she) is hauling ass towards another bird! Good stuff right there!

    Thanks everyone!

Adam – depends on what the object of the shot was.

Just a day watching those dogs makes me jealous! The birds are just icing on the cake.

What a way to have a great time  together and get some feathers for tying! 🙂
    Very nice pictures too.
    Were those your dog?

Very nice and thanks for sharing with us. Zach will you be taking any feathers home to become tying material?

Good stuff. I hope someday my daughters value a day afield or on the stream with their dad like you do Lauren.

Here are two quick photos from my Thanksgiving morning hunt.
