Hey guys –
Just to remind everyone, tomorrow is the closing day of the photo contest. If your images are not submitted by 5:00 Eastern Time tomorrow, you will not be eligible.
This is how this will work. I will assemble all the entries into one thread so we can all admire them. Then, Lauren, Phil Monahan (editor of American Angler) and myself will vote on our top five favorites. We will not compare our favorites until after we have decided (and Lauren and I have not been comparing notes). We will take the consensus 5 best photos.
Those 5 photos will then be submitted to the board at large in a Poll format. I will ask you to vote for your THREE FAVORITE photos. There’s no way to provide a ranking based on the board software and there shouldn’t be any need. With everyone voting for three out of five, I expect a clear one through five ranking to emerge.
Voting will stay open for approximately one week. I’d ask everyone involved to remain gentlemanly about the contest. At the end of the week, the winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded.

Does it end 5pm on the 30th or the 1st?
I think it should be extended through the July 4th holiday…i.e. my vacation.
