    Hey y’all,

I’m writing a piece on the economic impact of the recession on fly fishing. I need a photo of a recent closed fly shop, or one with big sale signs in the window, etc. Anything that visually says “bad economy.”

Also, I need a shot of a working guide in Oregon. Any river, any season, any style (float or wade).

As always, I need this stuff ASAP. You can throw stuff up here or into the archive on flickr. Just lemme know.

    Thanks,

    Phil

Oh yeah, and for a story in Outdoor Life, I’m looking for good landlocked-salmon shots.

Woot Phils back in the game. Hearty grats Phil.

Working guides I have, even with a dog. Unfortunately Ontario doesn’t look like Oregon. 🙂

Have some Chinook Salmon shots. Need to check my archives. One in particular you might like but it was taken with a 5MB camera so print constraints might be an issue??

John, By “landlocked salmon” I mean not any salmon that doesn’t make it to the ocean. I’m looking for the species of historically landlocked Atlantic salmon found in the Northeast and Canada.

looking for anything specific with the landlock? a trophy fish? lots of background? or a clean shot of a typical specimen?

    Colin,

We’ve already got a Joe Tomelleri illustration, so I’d say a grip-n-grin is what we’re looking for.

    Thanks,

Just wanted to say thanks to Phil for posting photo calls and to Zach for providing a space for us to all participate … I got a shot in the last AA because of this thread. So …

    Thanks Phil!
    Thanks Zach!

    Much appreciated.
