    Hey Guys,

I’m headed back south tomorrow, but have been on the Peruvian Amazon these last three weeks. Anybody that wants to see some photos can click here. Not a lot of huge fish to brag about, but I did lose most of a 250 gr. sink tip to Piranha teeth!

    Justin,

I just spent the better part of the evening perusing your blog. Very well done! Macchu Piccu (sp?) is on my bucket list.

Oh….I see you are a Harry Middleton fan. Of all his works….”On The Spine of Time” is my favorite.

    Hi Steve,

Great to hear from you, and glad you enjoyed the blog. Oddly enough “On the Spine of Time” is sitting in my lap here at the airport this morning in Iquitos! I guess us Appalachian boys stick together no matter where we are in the world.

That’s awesome Justin. I’ve been to that part of the world and I actually have one of those paddles on my office wall at home. Mine is short since it was all I could get through the airlines. Piranha’s pretty tasty, huh? Catch any payara?
