I fished for bones on Kauai.
I didn’t catch one but was hanging out with some guys bait fishing for dinner.

I watched them gut a bone that was in the 8lb range. The stomach was FULL of nickel sized, light/pale, pink crabs. Sort of oyster cracker shaped/size.

Only advice I have is to take some small, pink crab patterns, and me

Will your flybox include a diamond ring engagement pattern?

    Sans-

That fly is yet to be tied, that pattern is a little more pricey when not acquired through descent and distribution.

    Kyle,

If the opportunity permits, there is some good fly fishing for assorted species of stuff off the Barber’s Point and Makaha beach areas of Oahu.
